Established in 1986, East Dunbartonshire Enterprise Trust (EDET) is an independent company limited by guarantee and working as a partnership between the private and public sectors.

The Trust's Board is drawn from both public and private sector organisations representing a cross section of local business and community interests. Partnership is central to the business and drives the development and delivery of services to EDET's different customer groups.

As an Enterprise Trust, EDET's primary business focus is in East Dunbartonshire where we provide the following range of local services:

• managed business accommodation targeted at business start-ups and early trading enterprises;
• property & facilities management;
• employability training;
• financial management

Through its subsidiary company, Enterprising Property Services Ltd, EDET is also positioned to deliver commercial property services to property owners, landlords and tenants across Scotland.
